Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your PooPail to request a return and/or refund. 

To be eligible for a return, your PooPail must be in its original box, unused, and and unassembled.  If your PooPail has been assembled, you will need to cut-off push-nuts and disassemble it. It must be clean and in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging.

If you wish to return PooPail Liner Bags or SmartPoopy Walking Bags, the boxes must be unopened and in the original condition. 

A receipt and/or date purchased would be helpful, but is not mandatory.

We will be happy to provide a return shipping label, but we charge $10.00 for this.  (Our actual costs to ship each PooPail is approximately $20.00).  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, if you receive the wrong item, or parts are missing, please reach out to sandy@goodwag.com.  This will allow us to correct the issue and make it right.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.  We will charge $20.00 for a return shipping label if you wish to exchange your PooPail for color or size.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days, (less and return shipping charges). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.  
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at sandy@goodwag.com.
